Lev : I have a husband, 5 kids, 3 grandkids, more on the way, 8 cats, a fish, some frogs, insects, several aquatic mammals, marsupials, three amoebas, some single celled algae, plants and a full time job. I don't have time to change bulbs.

Phantom: Notice how the carbon molecules have departed the filament due to the extreme heat, and condensed on the inside of the glass, making it darker. When too much of the carbon has left the filament and condensed on the glass, the filament becomes too weak to support itself, and it breaks, causing malfunction of the bulb and darkness.

Oh... CHANGE it. OK.

Give me the damn bulb and I will change it as long as I follow the proper procedure:

Lock out Tag out on the control box for that circuit. ( ok now we are in total darkness because all the other lights are also on that circuit.)

Run approved extension cord to area affected and hook up approved temporary lighting.

did I mention that first we need to fill out the proper paperwork and get it approved to do said task ????

At my place of employment we each have a Safety Buddy,( I assume to call ambulance if needed.)

Extend approved step ladder into position with safety buddy helping.

Put on proper safety equipment, ( full face shield, steel toed boots , hardhat, Linemans Gloves, Jock strap attached to static discharge line.)

CHANGE LIGHT BULB with proper safety harness hooked to appropriate place.

Now spend next hour putting away safety equipment and filling out the rest of required paperwork!!!!!!!

Job done!!!!

now wasnt that easy!!!!!! : ::

Oh... CHANGE it. OK.

Actually, I stopped using carbon filament light bulbs long, long ago! I now use the new-fangled carbon filament L.E.D.'s. (Hey! That's what the guy at Tandy told me they were :D )

I only had one bulb so I planted it in the yard next to the tulips. If we get a little rain next year I should have enough bulbs for everyone here.

And then you can design a whole new website around the New 'Change Lightbulb' Development Process...

They say marketing will sell anything.

Hang on, is your procedure in your e-mail on the computer? If so, when you turn the electrics off you don't have a procedure to follow! ... then you're free! Unless of course there is a disaster recovery procedure as well. :D

Almost as bad as MS telling to look up the appropriate repair procedure on the Internet when you cannot get on the Internet to affect the repair that you need in order to getonto the Internet. Hang on, I'll just use this remote desktop assistant to fix your light bulb...
