Default new tv

TV took a dump on saturday so we went shopping.

went to walmart, got prices, went to REX and got prices, went back to wally world to buy TV, B------ at wally world was really rude and told me she didnt know anything about Tv we wanted and didnt have time to deal with us!!!!!!

Went to REX and bought TV from guy that really gave a Damn about what we wanted and needed.

Really Love new Tv, hdtv with digital tuner and best picture I have seen.

hdtv is worth every extra cent.:

You get LCD or Plasma? I want a 42" LCD but haven't convinced myself that I want to spend the money yet. BTW, I have reported to WalMart when someone is rude and always get an immed response.

samsung 30 inch widescreen CRT.

thing weighs a TON.

CRT was bigger but it also was cheaper and I couldnt justify the price difference, Maybe I need new glasses but I thought the picture qaulity was comparable to the much higher priced sets.

Costco is a great place to buy a TV from... they have a VERY liberal return policy.... Lifetime Customer Satisfaction guarantee... If you TV breaks down at just about anytime, you can take it back to them.... Heck I've read that it doesn't even have to break for you to return it....

Myself, I'm planning on buying a 42" Panasonic Commercial Plasma at the end of the summer.... new models will be comming out... the Commercial unit costs about $1000 less than the Consumer one and doesn't have a built in tuner, speakers (I use home theater speakers) and a few other features....

Been researching TV's for quite some time now... www.avsforum.com is a fantastic online reference site for information...

Nothing wrong with the HDTV CRTs. Their picture is excellent, and they ARE cheaper. Thin is sexy, but big & heavy is still cheaper.

My dad has a 42" commercial plasma.... it's great appart from the fact that the cooling system isn't quiet (since normally it'd be in a noisy environment and quite a long way away). Other than that it's got a great picture. This one does have speakers but - oddly enough, they're rubbish.
