Nothing in life is certain, but if all you have is E-machine recovery CDs, they proabably won't work with the new MoBo- they are usually coded for the one that came with your system.

If you have a retail CD, don't worry, it doesn't care, you will just need to activate again. :)

Wow, I just joined but I think I will give you some advice. First off, you have an e-machine..... Second off why do you have an e-machine?

There are a lot of variables in this.

Is the board exactly the same as the one you are replacing? If so move to: Sincerely,

Is the board similar, but not the same as the one you are replacing? Then you may need some drivers and have your Win CD handy.

Lastly, I would be glad to help you, but state more info.

    Sincerely,
    MrPeapers
