19' Lcd Problem

hey . i got this 19 inch cmv lcd screen and it has this major redish mark down the middle screen and the top left . do u guys have aclue whats going on and how much to repair ... i live in australia if thaty helps. . ?

If it's in warranty, bring it back for another. If it's not warranty, I'd be surprised if you could find anyone who could fix it for much less than buying a new one.

 

I suspect Wavetar is right however in the photo it looks more like bleeding that dead columns on the LCD. I would try hooking it up to a different computer and see if the problem still exists. If the problem goes away, it might be a bad video card.

 

hey , even when the screen is off and u tilt the screen u can still see the marks.

 

It appears as if it's been dropped or hit because it looks like a cracked/busted screen. If it's under warranty get another one, if it's not I'm afraid you will have to keep that one or buy a new one.
