Formatting a HDD

    is there any other way to format a HDD besides using the windows cd? Its just a slave drive that has an old windows vr on it and i wanna use it to store stuff, Thanks!

    just go to my computer rihgt click on the drive letter and go to format :)

    HDD Manufactures have a free utility for such, it usually comes with boxed retail HDD's, OEM or older models the utility can be downloaded for free at Manufactures web & some are avaible here at MG on the front page.

    The utilities are great for Multi Partitioning.
