Remote Desktop Connection

Usually I connected to a VPN Server and connect to my PC at work. I now can connect to the server but cannot Remote Desktop over to the pc. I think it has somthing to do with my network settings. I use NAT & I do have Firewalls enabled. I have never had this problem before. I did however just set up a domain controller and I think this is my issue but im not sure where to start.
