Win 98 Question.

I know theres a way to turn off the user name and password pop up when you first boot up Win 98, but i forgot how to do it. Can anyone remind me how it is done? Thanks

 

you can download tweakui (ms powertools) and use it to get rid of it. yes it's annoying and i agree w/ you.

If it is the Network Logon which popping up, then you can remove it without going to the registry :

Right-click your mouse on the Network Neighborhood icon and choose Properties.

In the Primary Network Logon choose "Windows Logon".
