help what the hell

hi need some help upgraded a packard bell platinum 2001 v2 s/n coo7200049 and there is two things that drivers havent loaded or there is some problem with them
1. pci serial controller
2. pci muitimedia vidio device
any help where to get drivers from and what they are for
was running on windows 98 now on windows xp

Do you have a PCI video card, or video capture card, TV tuner card etc?
Maybe update the drivers for that.
