Ok, right now my proc is running at about 1.8GHz. Which is just under what my ram can handle (Ram can handle maybe 10 more on FSB) Anyways, Im wondering if i turn my multiplier up to x10, if I can just leave the FSB at 200, which is standard for my mem. and have my PC running at 2.0 GHz.

Right now, im at x9 and about 210FSB.

    200 x 10 = 2000 / 2.0 Ghz......but the cpre should run 210 x10 = 2100 / 2.1 Ghz fine ..

Most all of the 3000 Venice can do 2.5GHz & few can get in the 3GHz range with some good cooling, Not bad for $120 cpu!

depends on your cpu. unless you got an opteron/FX (amd) or any mobile chip, you are going to be locked into a multiplier.
