   new rigs been up and running for 2 weeks want to activate raid 0 on an asus a8nsli board with 2 raptors 74g.to do this do i have to format everything and start from scratch

   yes, however you can make an image with norton ghost.
   Don't forget to active your raid controller as primary boot disk after you created the image!
   Otherwise you gonna need "Winternals" or other bootable OS to activate primary boot disk
