Mic reverby sorta thing :D

Hi, i had this problem before and a friend sorted it for me, but after a reformat it has returned! lol

Basically its my mic when ever its plugged in, like if i tap it or breath into it, the sound comes back out through my speakers, very annoying!

I know there is a lil box u have to uncheck in advanced mic settings, but i cant remeber how he gt into the advanced setting. I think this thread is in the right place as it is technically hardware, lol

If you go to your volume control, make sure Microphone is listed. If its listed, put a check next to Mute. You can also turn it down here. Also, go to Options and click on Advanced Controls. Then go back to Microphone and you may have an Advanced box under the mute check box for the mic. If you do, click it and make sure microphone boost is unchecked.

If its not listed, go to Options --> Properties and put a check next to microphone.
