I had to purchase a new Keyboard as the space key on my keyboard is broken. I bought what I thought was a new keyboard. All new quality keyboards are USB or wireless. My currentkeyboard is abus connected unit.

The keyboard works fine under Windows; however, when I boot, it does not work and I cannot slect which OS I want. Microsoft knowledgebase was useless. (The keyboard I had purchased was the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard.

A bus adapter also did not work.

No, he may need to go into the BIOS and enable it.

It might also be called Legacy USB.
