I have a computer that's been put away for about 6 months and I took it out to put it to use and when I turn it on it the monitor says "power saver mode" I can't get past it to boot windows or anything. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Make sure your video cable is plugged in securely. Evenif it is, try unplugging it and pluging it back in.

Also, try a different video card or monitor if one is available.

If your battery is dead you'll get a CMOS error
