Sound card drivers for Mitac 8640

Hi Everyone
Hope you can help.
I have a Novatech 8640 Laptop, manufactured by Mitac.
Windows XP Home addition.
I have recently re-installed the operating system but in the device manager it says that there is no drivers installed for a number of items
Multimedia audio controller
Video controller (VGA compatible)
Although I brought it new I dont have a driver disk.
As I travel a lot my laptop is my only source of music and life is very dull without it.
Where can I down load the drivers for my sound card.
I have been to the mitac web site but it dosent seem to open for me. Is there something on this web site I can down load?

While not the specific driver only, this link is to Mitec Europe which does have the full driver disks with all required drivers http://nbrma.mitacuk.com/ETSCDrivers...okDriverCD.htm

just choose your laptop model , download the large ISO and use the likes of Nero or Roxio to burn/convert the ISO to a data cd.


or if you dont hav Nero/Roxio this free CD burner for XP will work with ISOs http://www.majorgeeks.com/CDBurnerXP_d4242.html and tutorial on how to burn the ISO using this app http://cdburnerxp.se/help/burniso

You have no idea how helpful that link was for the Mitac drivers! I have gotten a few of those into my shop lately, and the owners never have a driver disc, or even know who the manufacturer is...thanks a heep!
