connection is fine...speed is slow

i posted up for help a few months ago.

but now it seems to get worse. when i check my status for the connection, the speed is fine. but my internet is still slow and takes a long time for a page to load.

how do i fix this?

my friend suggested changing the network card.
if that is the solution to this mess, how do i take out the network card out of the harddrive from the motherboard. i'm using a dell computer but the motherboard came with the drive, so i'm afraid that it's impossible to open up the computer overall or without damaging the computer itself.

please help me if you know any solution. thank you.
