Problems updating drivers in IBM NetVista

    Never posted before, so sorry if I don't give enough info :confused: .

    This all started due to DVD/RW (AOpen DUW1616/ARR) not working correctly. Have done all suggestions from tech's, which included updating DVD/RW drivers & chipset drivers (VIA KT133). Now CP is slower, & DVD/RW still not playing DVD's. Should I just do a system restore, or should I now look into all drivers for updates. My O/S is WinXP Pro. Any help is appreciated.
