CD-RW problem

not sure if this is the right thread.

Im trying to get some files on an older comp. I wrote the files to a CD-RW but when I put the disc into the cd-rom drive it dosen't find the CD. I went looking for a solution and found that CD-Rw can only be read by other CD-RW drives. is that true is there nothing I can do. I don't feel like going and buying a pack of CD-Rs unless I have too.

 

Ya i sort of had the same problem with an older computer. But when i used CD-R disc it work fine so that might be your solution also.

I think the problem is because your cdrom cant read RWs

 

It depends on the cd rom. You can put cd/rw's into some stereo players.

Don't buy a pack. Get one.
