Retail Store Network Topology

I'm doing a project that involves outlining the topology for a retail store. So far this is what I have:

(Firewall between Internet and DMZ)

On DMZ:
Public Web Server
FTP Server
SMTP Server
DNS Server
Proxy Server
Modem Server
Honeypot

(Router connecting DMZ with Intranet)

On Intranet:
Point of Sale Database
VPN Server
Private Web Server
File/Print Server
DHCP Server
Shipping/Receiving Transaction Database

Check out the awful attached picture for a basic outline of the network. Since this is a retail store, their Point Of Sale database will work in conjunction with the affiliated credit card company for transaction processing. This theoretical company has 100 stores, with 5 warehouses. My plan is to segment the network into multiple LAN's, with each warehouse serving as a central point for all surrounding stores (20 stores per warehouse or so).

I need to include all security protocols as well, but I just started on this project and I wanted some feedback on what I was missing (mostly for the intranet, since I think I'm leaving a bunch of stuff out). I'm not asking for anyone to 'do my homework for me', but some constructive criticism would be helpful.

I just talked to a customer support guy at amazon.com to see if I could speak with one of their security/network specialists but he couldn't give out any information like that. Anyone know of a fairly large retail company that does online sales who might not mind sending a college kid some basic topology information for their network?
