should i get a X1600pro or a X800XL?

i am lookin for a new decent card, my budget is $300 australian,
any suggestion would be nice

also i dont know much about the nvidia cards, as in i dont know what to compare them with the ati cards,

Just make sure you don't compare an AGP to a PCI-e card rather pointless!
