    Hello,

I'm trying to go from a "wired" router to a wireless router. I have re-booted in the past with my modem hooked-up to my "wired" router and this set-up is the only way i can connect to the internet. I cannot go from modem to PC. When I hook-up my wireless router to the CPU I cannot get a Internet connection (cannot clear DNS cache). I'm trying to get rid of the wired router and replacing it with a wireless router (They are all products of linksys).

I have not had much success with the support team from linksys they take me through the same process. of changing the ip address of the router to 2 instead on 1. and restarting the computer and turning them off for 30seconds, blah, blah, blah.

Is there any way I can reset my connection so I can get it to give me a internet connection from the modem straight to the PC or will I have to link my two routers together or can i just hook up the wireless router to the cpu ? please help! two days I've spent on this. I'm using Windows Xp.
