laptop lcd panel

    I have a laptop Dell Latitude D600. I was wondering if i use the same size(14.1), can i use a different lcd screen or do i have to get the exact one?

    I do not know if any of you would need specs or not:

    Intel pentium M 1.5ghz
    1gb of ram
    160gb HD
    ATI Radeon Mobility 32mb
    CD RW/DVD Rom drive

    The lcd can be from a host of different Dells, but not from just any system, because the adapters and voltages are diffrent between diffrent mfg.
