Printer Will Not Print

    hey, im having trouble with printing. I have an hp deskjet 940c, and lately it wont print anything. Acually, it says that the printer isnt installed when I click print. I go to print and faxes (in start menu) but it says the print spooler service isnt running!!! So I start up msconfig, click print spooler, click apply, and now msconfig wont close, and I can't close msconfig, therefore, I can't apply print spooler...

    So how do I activate print spooler (or just start up the printer) without msconfig???

    You dont use msconfig to set services, to adjust the settings of the print spooler service ( or any service ), goto, Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > look for the Print Spooler service, double click or right click properties > click Start and also set startup type to automatic > apply
