Default Newbie question about securing my wireless network

So I just set up my broadband wireless router (Linksys Wireless - G 2.4ghz 802.11g) and im worried about neighbors leeching off of my network, also my info being openly broadcast for all to see. So how does a newb go about securing my network to prevent all this from happening??

Sony VAIO PCG-K25
XP Sp2
LAN-Express AS IEEE 802.11g miniPCI Adapter
2.79GHz, 448mb RAM

Here's a couple of links that can help you. The first you can use for reference and the second gets into the security portion.

Post back if you have any problems. Hope that helps.
