How Do I Put Pw On Router?

    iv got a d-link 2.4gz wireless broundband router
    i need to know how to put a password on it because any 1 can connect to it, and use my downloads.

    we got 2 comps that use wireless but it says 4 people are connected through wireless

    Please HELP!

    i just baught a new router(other 1 kept conking out),the new 1 is netcomm, ill see if i have the same problem.
