Microphone Mute

: ok so heres the story. I have Counter-Strike and Knights Online. I use vent for both to communicate with my friends. My mic works completely fine and i never have a problem with my mic. But when it comes to Knight Online my microphone turns completely off. The button i use for a hotkey doesn't work. I've tried just about everything i could and now im left to ask u guys for help

please any bit of advice would help. thanks in advance
