Default hwo to i stop subscription

i can't figure out how to stop the automatic subscription that happens ever time i put a post, maybe i just missed it, if anyone knows let me know thanks.

edit better yet how do i stop it from sending me things to my email that i have a response, its driving me crazy.

Goto User CP and click Edit Options > scroll down to Default Thread Subscription Mode and choose your option ( Do not subscribe ) from the drop down box and then scroll down further to bottom of page and click Save Changes
