I was looking around for some answers to this error I've been recieving lately. ---- Win 32 error 0x007000E.--- i googled the error and came up with this: ....
----E_OUTOFMEMORY 0x8007000E The method failed to allocate necessary memory. ----- I'm not great with PC's but I'm not too bad either. This however has never happened to me before. i went out and got FreeRamXP to see if that did anything and NottA. Anyone here have this happen to them?? Thanks -Humeurs PS-I'm new here...is this the right place on the forum to post this?

    HEY! Welcome to Major Geeks.
Lets see if we can get a little more background on the problem.
    When does this occur?
What application are you running when it happens?
Do you have the latest patches?
Do you have the latest drivers?
Do you have any necessary updates to the application that you are running?

    Thanks Kodo,

I am running a program called cakewalk pro audio 9. It happens when I try to commit an effect to an audio wave. I am sure I have all the latest patches but I'll check to see anyway. I have never had this problem before. As far as I can tell everything on my system is running....well....as normal as can be.
This happened to me another time when I had too many apps running at the same time....which is when I got FreeRaMXP ... a few days ago which did the trick up until now. What is weird is it only happens when I try to commit an effect that is a bigger application than others.

    Any help is great,
    thanks!

    Yikes...Here's a biggie

Well. I ran both programs but my PC seems to choke up when I run them.
The first one where I created a back-up would get so far then just stop.
It ran nthrough about 4 "passes" and basically seized up on the last one. I did a burn in test.
The second program did the same thing although it looked to be the easier one of the 2 two.
Do these apps take awhile to finish up?
Here's a big diagnostic I got from FreeRam XP....I closed this program for now and let the tests run thinking it was possibly the reason for the seize up.
It seems that now my PC runs slower than when FreeRam XP is running.

physical RAM is dynamic.. so once the powers off, there's no more data being held. If your system freezes up with the RAM checker then it could be a probelm with your RAM.

Take one stick out and test it. See if it fails. and then check the other one. (one at a time).
