I use McAfee on my computer and my wife uses Norton, both came on the computer and both are due for renewal...What are your suggestions? Update or change?

Dump and change ....both are hogs and slow your system ...I also find that the security suites make alot of things difficult to do without turning them off ...(I am assuming you are referring to two different computers....)

I agree completely with TimW, dump both and choose a better antivirus, one with better detections and uses fewer resources such as AVG AntiVirus or Avast AntiVirus.

Do I delete Norton and McAfee? Does AVG and Avast have all the protection that I will need..Virus/spam ect?

Yes, simply uninstall, reboot and then install the new antivirus. Be sure you update right after you install.

Yes! In my opinion they provide the best protection for free applications.
