well.....it HAS got an uninstaller....it just calls it a DEINSTALLER instead. lol. just in case anybody else wants to know! if you remove the program under 'add/remove programs' a little 'deinstaller' box comes up (or so it says - haven't actually tried it!!)

One thing that bothers me a bit is the way some of you responded, sure the other guy isn't the brightest but sinking to his level with comments like, "There is a fix for your problem. Well, yes we are here to help people but all the person had to do was tell MA he was having a problem and ask for assistance. I have seen first hand the high level of patience/tolerance shown to members by MA and he would not let others verbally abuse us and should not have to tolerate it himself. This is a free site and people try their best to help users, it's not too much to ask that they show some respect to owners and members?

MA would have helped him or posted in forum for him if asked in a normal manner. Cussing and disrespecting people only gets you what you deserve IMHO.

 

Agree with Cat_w_9_lives. A little git ( sorry bit---typo ) of courtesy on his original thread would have bought a quick solution as lauraB found it, for example. Bazza

I cant say I agree. From a personal stand point (as in this has happened to me) If you were to treat someone with respect that has totally trashed you, they will think its acceptable and will continue to do it. Some ppl have to be put in there place, now there is a way to do it, and maybe some ppl did take it too far, maybe they didnt.

If he were rude like that to someone in public, what do you think thier response would have been? Some ppl find it easier to bash ppl when they are no reprocussions. Sorry but its just my 2 cents

I try not to be rude to people, that said some people will just push till you respond. The email shows that this person does not understand common courtesy or would not have sent the email and had the audacity to expect MA to solve his problem too.

I have shown my claws but do understand courtesy and admit when I’m in error; the person sending that email was just evil in my opinion and did not want to take responsibility for their actions.

My guess is that MA has to deal with people of the same like too often and everyone has a point when they’ve had enough. One of the golden rules here is respect for a reason…so we don’t have to deal with the like of them?

Yes we responded, but we are all very protective of the site and like our peace and good nature here, part of the reason we enjoy it is that MA keeps it that way via these posts too, it shows that cussing and disrespect will not be tolerated here.

What a ridiculous post . . . I don't think you can blame that level of bizarre on simple alcohol - I think the guy has way deeper issues. Good reply, MA.

 

Actually knowing MA and having spent time in his company, I have to say that he really is a very level headed and tolerant person. Normally, i am one of those who says to ignore the BS some people spout, but sometimes, you just need to be the one to turn around and give them a good solid smack upside the head.

This is merely my HO, and we all have them....

Though I agree with you on principle, Coleman, I at the same time think there is a difference when we're actually talking to this guy, compared to when talking about him. Sending an email like that and not expect to be made fun of is so stupid that in itself is good for a few laughs... this is the type of person that we all know is laughed at in the break room of any call center he has ever contacted. And he deserves it.
