i do like it..i forgot who gave it to me...
that was back that guy who left and started his own folding at home site. you know the outcasts

 

kodo did. i had to look it up.
i remember he was handing them out and i posted that and the next thing i new it was under my name..

 

It happens. I've been through two title changes. The first (banana one) courtesy of Mr.Kodo. Then it got modified a tad by Abby (with some coaxing by Star, no doubt), A.F.A.I.K. - So I 'wear the britches', now, lol! :major

(Those yellow shorts of eclayton have a lot to answer for, eh )

 

i think mine is supposed to be the sound of dolphins (probably laughing their socks off) don't know who gave it to me , or why i should be awarded it, but i quite like it as otherwise i would be a 'major' geek by now, which would be a complete misnomer

Mine speaks for itself.....

 

Mine has changed afew times over time (i remember one time it was "I drive Huggy Bears car" and that was because at the time i drove a 1988 Lincoln Continental). Thanks to Abby it was changed back to stock. I believe Kodo was behind all my title changes but i got him back. At one point i had his changed to "N5638J's #1 Fan".

 

OK, now I have to post to make sure mine is still the same...

Yup! Abby gave it to me one day after I mentioned I had to put on a skirt to run to Radio Shack because I was out of both thermal compound and clean clothes, and all of my upgrades had come UPS. I think it was G.T. said something about that making me an ultra geek.

Hmmm, good point, Darlene . . . Actually, I'm not loath to climb the ranks - I only got to Sgt in the Air Force, so Sgt Major is quite a leap in grade

I mentioned the title thing to my wife, and she remarked snidely "They should call you the jury-rigging King" - refering to my never ending quest to upgrade her aging Pavillion with cast-offs from my computer. Yeah, I've cut some holes in the case, made a P4 fan fit her AMD, spliced and re-routed some wires, but hey! The thing purrs like a kitten! I indignantly replied with, "It's not jury rigged - it's stock modified !!"

She didn't buy it. rolleyes

 

You know i get the same thing about my truck who else do you know would rig up a boat fuel tank in there tool box because there fuel tank rotted out.
