I don't have a fancy OS or a fancy 'puter, but I do have a desktop of my own design. This is the pic I am using now. It's a fractal drawing I made using Apophysis 2.2. and I use ObjectDock for my most used apps (toggled to stay showing for the screen shot). Just learning to make fractals, so a better one will be on the desktop soon.

Looking at the desktop from Adrynalyne - the brightness woke me up!

Then I saw Musksnipe's one - :eek I had to put my sunglasses :cool on!

Linux made to look like Vista? Or some really cool cube feature on Vista (that i've never heard of??) that models the one on Linux? Knowing you though, I'd have to say Linux. However you did it, it looks great! :highfive

Adrynalyna i tried that program and got it to do nothing any hints or tricks you can give about that program?

I found that when I loaded the program I was at a loss as well...then I figured that if I use existing pic that I had already in my puter that I would play with all the gizmos... I did click on About..top of page of program and got into the forum there... I downloaded all sorts of pluggins to enhance my quest.... In the forum there are members that will also qive you the tweaks and how-to's for different ways to alter pics... I really love...My only beef is that once you start playing with it...you lose track of time..geezz....I was suppose to do some shopping today...lol oh well..there is always tomorrow...

BTW: how do you get your pic at full pic on the MG posts... I can only upload 97.sumthing and it is small....*sigh... when you enlarge the pic I had just put on the other post[desktop] you see the justice of the pic...it is so elaborate..It took me hours to purfect it....*sigh...waste... lol

You need to upload the pics to an album site like photobucket or image shack. Then, copy the image code into your post.
