what game was it that you were trying to play? for overall system performance i would add at least 512mb or RAM and then do the video card as both will help significantly though RAM will help in nearly all areas. I can recommend a video card if you give me a budget and the name of game + type of games you want to play

you dont NEED more RAM but personally i wouldnt run XP with any less; it just makes your whole computing experience a lot smoother.

You can get pretty much any video card that's compatible with your computer to run that game. (IE: an AGP video card) How much do you want to spend on it

The most I was trying to spend was between $20-$50.Will a AGP be around that price range?another question do I have to go in my computer to put it in there? If I do then can you give me some intrsuctions or directions.I dont wanna try to put in the video card and then mess up my whole computer.Im not that good with computers. Please respond when you get a chance

Edit:so you telling me that "ANY" AGP card I get that has 128mb will be compatible with my computer?

as long as you have a PSU that can power it then yes, you can (though you wont need one that powerful for that game)

here is a good card that would run that game fine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102043

ill see if i can find a thread with installation instructions, im too lazy to type it all out right now lol. But its really easy, and yes you need to go inside your computer :p

i would just order it off of newegg. it'll be way cheaper than what you could ever find in stores, including shipping.
