external sound cards

I need some help finding a good external sound card. Currently my graphics card extends over my only PCI slot (small form factor case) so I need to look at external sound cards. Is there anything that will be similar to the X-fi Xtreme Gamer in terms of quality? How do the Audigy 2 NX/Creative Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit External compare to the X-fi Xtremegamer?

I have always liked turtle beach soundcards. Any of those would be good. They won't be as good as a X-Fi, but they are good.

 

turtle beach has no support for Vista tho. As for external cards the best you can get is the Audigy 2ZS PCMCIA - if you have PCMCIA slot. If it has to be USB then those 2 that you mentioned are okay but not as good as xtreme gamer.

Edit:I realized there is also X-Fi Xtreme Audio for PCI Express, did not know about it:
