I went through all the steps in the removal guide and was going to post my scan results but i can't find where i saved the report from avg anti spyware i'm pretty sure i saved it but can't find it. In the infections section it shows everything that i have been infected with but i can't get it to copy. can u still help with the other logs or is there a way to get that report?

The READ ME gives you a link on using AVG AS: Running AVG Anti-Spyware It explains how to get a log. Did you follow this? Did you fix everything that AVG AS found or did you Ignore it.

Please try to get a new log and then attach it in this message along with all the other logs if you are still having problems. Also tell us what malware problems you are having.

Is this for the same PC that you never follow thru on in the below thread last time?

Do you plan on following thru this time or should we just ignore this message?

No not the same pc. like i said in the other thread it was my brothers computer, and apparently he thought it was taking to long to fix so he took it back home with him. nothing i could do about that. I really don't appreciate your tone, i thought you guys were better than that. By the way I went back and finally found the file but don't need it now. I don't think i will ask for your help any more. Thanks anyway. :wave

Sorry but we don't appreciate it when people waste our time (which we give for free). When someone posts a request for help and we spend the time to give an answer or a procedure, proper curtesy would be to complete the instructions and follow the thread thru to the end. In a case like you are describing that could have been as simple as saying "my brother took back his PC so don't need to work on this anymore." If you spent 35 to 40 hours a week doing this and people seem to ignore your answers after you spent the time answering their requests for help, how would you feel.

i understand how you feel but i honestly didn't think you would even notice that is wasn't followed up on since you have so many people asking for help, and since you are so busy you don't need me to explain the details that you can't really do anything about. would that not just be wasting your time? how would you feel going to a website that is supposed to be there to help you but you get sacrasim and attitude in return?

No it would not be a waste of our time and it would let us know that what we posted was either completed or not completed. We have many people coming here who do not complete all the instructions given to them and they often wind up returning with new infections simply because they did not finish off the thread. We track ALL threads. What is a waste of our time is people posting and not following up.

While it may seem like sarcasm to you, it is just our frustration from having our time wasted and then seeing another request for help which may not be followed up on like a previous request. How would you feel if your post was ignored completely?
