Last one for me was Elephant Walk. Very oldies will remember this movie, set in Ceylon. Starred a very young Elizabeth Taylor, Peter Finch and Dana Andrews. I picked up this DVD in a sales bin for AUD$8, aound USD$6.:cool

Originally released, as a movie, in 1954 and worth watching just to see how the ex-pats lived, life on tea plantations, Ceylon local habits, scenery, customs and dances.

All very different 50+ years later, I guess.
Worthwhile watching for the Elephants alone, and the destruction at the end of the movie. Bazza

The fast and the furious Tokyo drift,it was O.K for kids only really, the car talk was even less technical than the other two which dissapointed me

For some strange reason I feel like watching it again though,I just love japan I think:D

I watched "Night Of the Living Dead". The original black and white version from 1968. I remember going to the drive-in with my girl friend and watching it. Scared the bejezus out of her. Especially, when some of my cronies snuck up and shook the car. :D

Rikky you just want to watch it again to see the Mustang at the end or maybe the car he had at the start of the movie ;)

Last dvd i watched would have to be "T3 Rise of the machines" or maybe "Three Kings". Last VHS would have to be "Iron Eagle III Aces" (i just love that P-38) and lets see last movie i seen on TV would have to be "Who Killed The Electric Car" (I think thats a must see for anyone)

Hmmm i don't know why but now i want to play some Tic-Tac-Toe

Haha...I watched that a bunch as a kid, then I watched it a couple of years ago with subtitles. Omg! lol...even funnier when I could finally figure out what they were saying in some of the scenes I couldn't understand a darn thing of what they said. LOL

Elephant Walk, loved it, was at the premier in San Francisco with the search lights (are those still in use?) Don't recall seeing it since.

Anyway, last DVD was Dreamgirls, what a let down, probably cuz I know the real stories behind those people (who they're supposed to be ) and the music was not what I thought either. Was expecting oldies. My granddaughter watched it on her way home from a visit here and liked it.

I was working in SL, when the civil war was on. Fortunately I left 12 months before it got really bad. Rebels kidnapped and held hostage for 3 months, some of the people that worked for the same company as I did. Bazza

The illusionist - Drama - almost unpredictable, a very rare quality in a movie.
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443543/

Pan's Labyrinth - Drama - In Spanish with subtitles, dark and occasionally gruesome
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457430/

Grandmas boy - Comedy - Funniest movie I have seen in a long time
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0456554/

All three movies well worth watching.

About half way through a Bob Dylan Comedy 'Masked and Anonymous' at the moment - so far so strange.

Finally saw the entire Mr and Mrs Smith... great movie!!!

Then watched Premonition... I am gonna have to rent that later and watch it at home with no interruptions..... talk about a movie that messes with your mind... but the fact that I want to get it myself and watch it at home instead of at work should say something :)

Finally, finished up the other night with Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector: OMFG!! I LMAO and I am not really one for comedy like that, but darn if I didn't have a great time watching that movie :)
