running mafia pc game with a 24bit sound card

    does anyone know if the old pc game from 2002 called mafia works with 24 bit sound cards with out lowering the sound card accelleration in direct x (I know it has issues with audigy):cry, i have a diamond xtream sound 7.1 24 bit sound card.

    I had no problem running this game with my Audigy 2 zs which is 24bit. This game has one of the best endings I have ever seen in a game. Love it. Enjoy.
