    Hi!
I have this weired and strange case...
I installed Mad Caps from GameHouse and started the game, everything is working but the picture is just shaking and skewing in a funny way.

The performance of the computer (and the monitor screen) is fine.
I also had this when installing Mavis Teaches Typing Deluxe v16.

Is it a software or hardware issue? The screen is Samsung SyncMaster 793DF

I attached an image to clarify what I mean. You'll only understand the situation when you see the image.

    Thanks!

    CRT monitor?

Kinda looks like you need a degaussing!

Look for this icon. It may be on a button on your monitor, or you may need to play around in the menus a bit. Performing a degauss will re-calibrate the magnetic plates in your monitor. Over time, they tend go out of whack due to electric motors, or any other stray magnetic field around the monitor.

    Thanks!
I looked in the menu and I found it. After executing it, the screen flickers (blinks) and a sound (tick) is heard.

But it didn't fix the problem. Hey, I think I missed some details, there's a fax machine located near the monitor, there's a glass shield between them.
    Could this be the reason?

It does look like electronic interference and could be the Fax, could be microwave or mobile phone. A number of electrical device interfere with a CRT monitor. I suggest you move them all away from your screen.

Thank you guys, I'll remove the fax and see what happens.
But why does the effect appear during some games only?

A good point! It can't hurt to update drivers, maybe play around with resolutions, refresh rates, or even other monitors.

    also take these steps
1.right click on the desktop and go to properties.
    2.goto settings then advanced.
3.go to monitor and make sure that "hide display setting that my monitor cannot display" and make sure that is ticked.
