Learned something new today

I got a PC up and running earleir today, and took it over to the ex's. Well... I sat there for almost 3 hours trying to get this thing online. I was on the line with Road Runner Tech support Tier3 even and we couldn't get anything. I finally was ready to give up and figure that I had to reinstall an OS on the thing.

THe only thing we could find, was that it would hit sites by IP addy, but not by URL. Turns out that somewhere inthe settings, it have been given a designated DNS location. I changed it to find it automatically instead, and voila. It worked..... that was a lot of hell for something so minor...LOL


It works tho, and I had to brag about it somewhere that people would understand what it meant.... hehehe, not the ex's and not at home either... *grin*

I have 2 pounds of Jelly Bellys in my desk right now.

And the sweetest toys. You wouldn't imagine the shear explosive greatness of the toys if you come over to the dark side.

 

Can I just visit the dark side for some of those jelly beans? LOL

Just what kind of pamphlets are we talking about?

 

The powers of unclean living and the like. Standard run of the mill "Come to the Dark Side, we have Jelly Bellys" sort of thing.

 

Although its very tempting (nice literature btw )... You'll need more then Jelly Bellys to sway me

 

What about M&M's? Get a lot of recruits, if ya got them. I didn't see them in the pamphlet.
