Well for us AustriansLOL....Property markets high in Sydney area...prices fluctuate, but mainly continue going up...unwise to sell your house here if going interstate...too hard to buy back in to Sydney. Sydney mortgages have put some people into the street if not planned properly...so need to start according to your "pocket size".

Queensland is always good...leave to Bazza to expand.

Perth is positively booming...I think we have some overnight millionaire tradesmen there...leave that for my WA mates to advise.

Overall, it's Location, Location, Location...and if you get in at the right time, can do well.

So back on track...I would still prefer to invest in property rather than spend big on a car any day. But then, to each his own (pocket)

Yep, Perth real estate prices approximately quadrupled in about three years (Well mine's worth about 4.5X what I paid for it, heh, heh. ). Like L.S. said, definitely a seller's market, a.t.m. Trouble is what can you buy for your profit? At today's prices probably less than what you sold, so yes, not worth it, unless you want a pile of cash for something else, i.m.o.

Cars can appreciate in value, if it it becomes a so-called collector’s item. Then, it depends how desperate some rich buyer is to have said item.

Also, unless you can afford to hire a 'Minder' (several?), a car like that, would attract every car thief, Hoon, vandal, jealous person, in the state, if not, the country, eh. rolleyes.

 

Wonder if the Rumour, that M.A. just bought two and paid CASH is true????

If your gonna build a car that weighs 1650kg dry it must have something special to drag it along,the mclaren F1 weighs 1000kg and has the same amount of horsepower no 4wheel drive and it gets to 100kph in 3.2 secs,that would still be my car of choice when compared this

Bugatti lose money on every veyron they sell,I doubt that is the case with this lambo unless the price of carbon fibre has just gone up X20,you would think smart business men wouldnt fall for that "limited edition" rubbish us regular punters do
