RAM problem

I've just purchaced a memory upgrade.
I've recieved two KVR333D8R25/1G cards and after installing them, I get these these wierd beeping sounds and nothing else when I turn it back on. I fear I screwed up, as I seem to always do lately, on my purchase. The descriptions of these cards seemed to mesh with my mainboard manual. Where did I screw up?

 

Can you put your original RAM back into your PC? then go to www.crucial.com and do an on-line scan of your PC.

That will provide you with the specs recommended for more Ram.
You can them compare it with your purchase.
Doesn't sound too promising though, at present, with your new RAM. :cry

If the computer was a factory built, post it's make and model number up. Someone will then work out for you if the computer was compatible with the DIMM DDR 184 pin RAM.

Or....If you know the motherboard model post that up.

 

I have a P4 Mainboard (#L4S5MG/651+) I made my comp from bare bones.

 

Here is what i found,

Crucial says that they don't have any compatable upgrades. Here are the specs they provided.

I would pull one stick out, write down all the numbers, including brand name and do a online search. ed
