tribalfusion lead to download of maxsecure spyware detector

Dear best and only friends,
Trying to rid myself of tribalfusion and f(r)iends lead to download of maxsecure spyware remover. They even mention your site, but now I realize you can't believe everything you read. Do I have to purchase this maxsecure to actually rid myself of all 98 spy's they found during a 2 hour scan?
It is hailing a sh!tstorm of unpleasant people in my life, please help me rid my computer of baddies so I can at least enjoy a decent running computer. Please excuse me for whining but the sky is crying and I sold all my cd's except the one that has that classical blues tune.
