    1.
Sometimes when I receive a forwarded e-mail, images come in as x's in the body of the message, yet, just below the x's, the images that were supposed to show in the x's, appear at the bottom.

    2.
I like to use emoticons, for example; such as those available at MG. When I send an e-mail with an emoticon (jpeg or gif) inserted into the body of the message, the recipient replies back to me, then I reply back.... at this time, when I'm replying back, I notice that sometimes my emoticons don't show up, just an "x" where the image should be. I can see the file name for the emoticons, but no emoticons within the message .
Other times it shows up in replied e-mails.

Click on Tools -> Options -> Security. Then UNCHECK the "Block images and other external content" check box, and click OK.

    Or is it already unchecked?

    Hi!
    Yes, it's already unchecked.

I receive the images just fine, but I have to scroll through a bunch of empty boxes to get to them.

The emoticons, when I reply back to "friend a" my emoticons from my original e-mail are displayed. However, when I reply back to "friend b", the emoticon image doesn't appear, just the name of the emoticon file shows up.

Hmmm. As a test, send your friend a pic, then have your friend reply to that email. Do you still get the same pic? Or is it a red x, then your pic?

    Found one! Yay!

    RE: Emoticons

I'm attaching a picture of the box that I see.
This occurs when I send an e-mail to a friend, and I have included emoticons within the message body. When my "friend a" replies back to me, the emoticon doesn't show, this image (see attached) appears, and the name of the emoticon file displays at the bottom of the page.

    But.....
If I do the same thing with my "friend b", no problems.

    RE: Receiving Forwards
I don't have an image for this one, but sometimes when I receive forwards from other people, there's an empty box for each picture, then below the empty boxes, are the pictures.

    Clear as mud? lol
