What made you choose your avatar?

OK, the last one that came up on the list was over a year old, so I need to start a new one. The question is the same, what gave you the idea for your avatar?

As I said before, mine was intended as a joke, as Scrat is pretty much my opposite, yet oddly endearing to me. How did you choose yours?

I choose mine because there really are only 3 more well known geeks then Beaker...Steven Hawking, Jobs @ Apple, and that billionaire software CEO..... don't say his name 3 times or he will install a newer, more complicated OS in your PC :eek

 

The only picture that I could find to go with my name - My wife always calls me a grumpy so and so :confused

I get really frustrated, when programmers persist in asking "Are you really sure that you want to exit". I've used the bl**dy program at least 100, maybe 1000, times before and the idiots still ask the same question. :cry

How about just closing the bl**dy program if I am trying to do so. :cool
Or a third alternative "Just close it, and don't ask ever again" :major

That would give learners the option to answer "Yes" or "No", or let those with a little bit of nouse be never bothered again.

Hehe, because I'm clueless, at least when I first got here. and it fits with my nick, someone here found it for me and probably had a good laugh at my expense though I love it now.LOL

 

I use bl**dy for a substitute for what I'd really like to say (and it would get be banned from MG ).

Nowadays, in just about every sentence spouted by the under 30's, the "F" word is said. Both sexes, as well. Doesn't go over well with me. Bazza

 

Maybe Santa will send me it on the 25th December?

Well seeing this thread reminded me to set my avatar since i'm a noob. lol.

All i know is i need to come up with a better nickname..

 

Because I'm Yoda and am myself a Jedi Master.

 

All I could think of was a t-shirt that said "I'm Yoda the Jedi Master B**ch" (*Kinda a rip off of the Rick James t-shirt )

Anyways... Mine is because I am a hairstylist and I love the Saxy Hair product line

I choose mine because I haved liked unicorns since I was in HighSchool even have a tattoo on my leg of one so it was a easy choice.

I drew mine from scratch, it kinda incorporates several things in my life.

 

i chose mine because i thought it was a cool piece of art work & it suited my name. here is a better view of it.

@wildwolf: It reminds of a website I visited a while back called Wolfsong. Wolves are neat too, they're a very group-centered animal. Much as tame dogs take after them, in coexistence with human families.
@Calltaker: Hairstyling is a very social field. I think it's a great way to meet people, and it seems the hairstylist knows just about everyone in a small community.
@Mimsy: That's new to me. I've never heard of that smiley before. :confused
@mcadam: Star Wars' Yoda has had a larger role in the series of late. The fight scenes were as funny as they were cool. Something about a little old man squaring off against evil in such an energetic and heroic way tickles the funny bone and inspires awe at the same time. 'A very intriguing character, you are,' I say, and that's my take on Yoda.

 

As I stated in the other thread....I brew beer. And this is my secondary fermentor. I think...though, 'tis been awhile since I posted that pic, could be my primary.
