Crazy Controllable Halloween Lights for Celiac Charity are baacckk ...

This has been fun for MG'ers in the past, plus anything that combines three live webcams, X10 powerline control technology, THE HULK, and Homer Simpson (D'OH! ;-) has gotta rank up there on the geek scale! ;-)

The Halloween Decorations Webcam is up and running. And as in years past, there is a charitable aspect as it raises awareness and voluntary donations for Celiac Disease Research at the University of Maryland - this is something my kids have, so it is personal for me.

Just beware the haunted office! ;-)

Looks terrific, what a job huh?

 

Actually, since most of the lights are outside, it's not that bad ... and believe it or not, the neighbors think it is a hoot ... especially the kids.

One thing that is somewhat bothersome is that the X10 SuperSockets and Appliance Modules make a *click* noise ... so this can be a bit distracting when things are hopping! ;-)

evilfantasy: That was a pretty funny story ... yea, even with continuous webcam coverage, the HULK will still keep a close eye for troublemakers and SMASH any that come by! ;-)
