    "I drank the slab that Bon Scott drunk;
    I injected some of Hendrix's junk;
    I booked a seat on Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane;
    Mama Cass's sandwich? Ate the same.

    Now I'm bored,
    Now I'm bored,
    Now I'm bored there's no stopping.

    Now I'm bored and there's no stopping;
    I need another celeb to fill a coffin;
    Where'll I get my next drug action?
    Odds on it'll be Michael Jackson."

    No you can't tell a thing about someone based on what music they like, just like you can't assume that somebody is an intellectual just because they listen to Mozart, or a Nihilist just because they listen to Sex Pistols.

    For the record the first four songs on my Vision :M are "The Day That Mauro Ran over Elwy Yost", "Seattle/Washington/Prague 00/68/Chicago/Nixon/Reagan Circle-Fighting Machine", "Yuppie Restaurant-Goers Beware Because This Song Is for the Dishwasher", and "Just Another Jive-Assed White Colonial Theft", all by 1-Speed Bike. Although I doubt that gives any of you an idea of what I'm like. And there's no way any of you Philistines are going to get me to rant about the 300 different artists I like, I might go into a little detail about the genres though if you ask me nicely.:p;)

    my WinAmp play list isn't randomized.

    I have over 90 albums with over 100 different artists and almost 1100 tracks. And that is just local to this machine.

    But right now I am listening to the Chamber Brothers, Best of the Chamber Brothers. After this annoys the coworkers enough, I might have to listen to a little Rage Against the Machine. :dood

    No, but you can tell who is a pretentious prick from how they justify their musical taste. Not that I am saying that is how you are, seriously. And this reminds me that I need to get some more Mozart actually :D

    I would have to find my iPod, figure out if I still have the cable to hook it to my computer to charge it, and remember how to use it before I could answer this question. I don't care enough to do all that. :rolleyes:

    However, the first four BANDS that leap to mind are:
    Jimmy Buffett
    Paul Thorn
    Marillion
    Sugartooth

    Saw Ray Charles during his last tour in Australia...his music is still very popular Down Under...just like a lot of other greats. Gotta admit, I have a large range and variety of likes in music and artists too which include some types of classical music...but those two artists' music are normally the first played.

    I reckon most everyone is the same and has quite a range of likes. Like Dyamond, I'm not into heavy metal stuff though.
