How to rate a video card.

Hi all again,

As I put in my other threads, some of my new games are running slowly, so I wanted to buy a new processor. I have been told that it may just be down to the ammount of memory my PC has or my video card.
Everest report says -

Pysical memory
Total 511MB
Used 473MB
Free 78MB
Utilization 84%

Do I need more memory? If so which one?

My video adaptor is NVIDEA GeFORCE 6200 A-LE (256MB). Does this need changing?

My motherboard will allow me to put a AGP video card in but which one works best?

Please help.

Yes Adding more memory will help alot!
For right now your video card is fine.

 

So if I add 1GB of memory, which ones are compatible with my PC and how much would I expect to have to pay?

That's great, but I'm not sure if 256MB is enough! Also, do you know of a web site in the UK?

 

For current games 256 mb is fine.
