put up a young picture of yourself

This was me... I used to be adorable... then I learned to speak and it was all down-hill from there.

 

That is adorable, reminds me of a saying,
you spend the first year teaching them to walk and talk, the rest of the time to be quiet and sit down rolleyes

 

I'm not sure if I managed to attach it or not, but if I did it's over 50 years old. How time flies.

I also have my driver's license photo that I could try to share. Now, that's a picture!

(I'm trying to delete the attachment. It looks like it brings you directly to my computer. The directory is my name.)

The best way to up load picts is to use photobucket.com. It is easy to use and is self explanitory. Just be sure to go over the whole site and see how it is done.

Some still think I'm that cute - only 4'10" and, doggone it, still Mexican somehow, too! At 45 I'm hardly "spring chicken" anymore tho'.
Am happy with my current guy, a grumbling big bear of a man who is unsusally protective, sensitive, nurturing, and tolerates my premenopausal neuroses as if they were anticipated and normal - if only he weren't so damaged by his past (those b**ches!).
I love this site and (most of) the folks I read here - it's quite a community!

Ok, I've got one. It isnt the best because its a copy of a picture (on regular printer paper I might add) that my sister gave me (she made copies of some of our pics because my mom is such a hoarder!LOL) well here goes.. I think Im about two or three and its is me and my sister, can you guess which one is me?

I had all my photos in boxes also, started scanning them as soon as I learned how to, then put them on cd's for all the kids so they would each have a set and hopefully no fighting over them later on. Was a job I tell you, took years, now when I get new ones I add them to the cd's. Wouldn't you know though, after doing all that and making labels for each now they say some machines can't read the containce with the paper labels. I refuse to do it all over again, it's their job now. LOL

 

I don't want to get off topic but I can't post any pics either because I have some photos but no scanner.

I was looking at some but would like to hear from those who use one and LIKE the one they have.

I want one that:
scans photos
scans negatives
scans slides

If anyone uses one they like - please let me know what it is (you can pm me so as not to derail this thread)

 

@ pegg, we have a HP all in one 7300 series, it's big but does everything - scans, copies, faxes, I'm used to working with certain programs I already had and prefer using them. The only bad part is the ink cartridges are expensive.

 

Thanks - I'll keep that in mind. I was just thinking of a separate flat bed scanner - don't need a printer or copier.

I have really enjoyed following this thread.

I don't have my lifetime collection of photos b/c someone saw fit to destroy them and darn it all...there were some doosies of me that make me laugh just thinking about them.

When I was back home visiting in September I ran across the below pic of me that I scanned and sent to Chris. Not sure how old I was but my baby brother is on the couch to the left so at a guess I'd say I was about 3 years old.

~ I agree with Halo, you do look like you have little bit of a mischievous look in that photo, or maybe just a tad nervous. Seems a lot of us here have lost most, or all of our younger photos. Shame.
