I have a XFX 7600GT XXX edition and when i play F.E.A.R its like 80C but at times it jumps to 90C. I have been playing it for like a few hours and also I have not cleaned my pc out for like 11 months. I will try to get a can of compress air tomorrow. Also I am considering on buying on of these. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811999154
Any other ideas to keep it cool. Thanks for your help.

sounds like a good clean out will help :)

pci slot fans are great, they suck the hot air straight out the back of the case.

I have a 'passively cooled rolleyes' 7600GS and without the slot fan it would have melted by now.

just be aware that even some of the ones that say they are 'single slot' are often too wide for one slot and may foul on your Graphics card

Not a fan of Thermaltake personally, due to the fact that they tend to be incredibly loud for the amount of air that they shift

    good luck

I clean my PC's with a compressor at least every other month, I also use Isopropyl Alcohol on Q tips to clean cpu/gpu fans, fan blades & heat sinks
You might reseat your HS with Artic ceramique or similar thermal paste

    Dirt & Dust = Heat

    Download and install Riva Tuner

In Driver Settings click the box next to Customize. Click the first icon "system settings." Click the fan tab and see what settings it is stock. I like to run my 7800gt at 50% 2d and for the 3d settings 100%

If that dosent lowewer your temps and your pretty computer savy then take your heatsink off your card and take it apart. Give her a good cleaning. i just blow out the fins with my mouth. then clean the base off with rubbing alch 80% or higher and clean off the gpu core with the rubbing alcho and a ling free rag. Apply some thermal paste and reinstall.

When i got my 7800GT it would load at 90c. i bought it used and thought the shop cleaned it out. i took off the heatsink and fan and a huge club of dust blocked half the fan. cleaned it out and temps went down to 65c load.

PCI fans are useless when it comes to cooling video cards they all suck cool air out from the bottom of your computer directly underneath your video card starving it of cool air from the bottom of the case, airflow in a standard ATX should move from the bottom front to the top rear of the case.:)
