Grey Cup Sunday

Time for the annual Grey Cup thread that NOBODY CARES ABOUT!!
Saskatchewan vs Winnipeg. I'm cheering for Saskatchewan, because they're from the West, and they're my team of choice after the BC Lions. Kick off is 6:00PM Eastern time on CBC TV. There's gonna be 23 people at the party we're attending. My wife is busy preparing food (she always does). It may be a rough day at work tomorrow.

 

Hahaha, I'll be watching it though no Cup party here. I have a friend from Alberta and he says football is almost like a religion in the West as opposed Quebec or Ontario.

 

Gotta go with the Roughriders, Winnepeg lost their QB in the east final to a broke left arm it will be tough. Wish they would open the roof in Toronto

Well I watched some of the game today and apart from not understanding the rules, I found it quite enjoyable
I always cheer on the team in the Green, so i guess I am a saskatchewan fan now

 

Decent game Riders defense was good. Tough spot for Dimwiddie and Bombers

 

So is there a difference between Canadian and American Football?

 

We have 3 downs instead of four, the field is larger and there are minor differences in scoring points.

 

The game was not as good as I hoped. I'd like to have seen more scoring both ways. Most of the people at the party were rooting for Saskatchewan, and a few for Winnipeg, so there was lots of whooping and hollering when they did score. I came out the best though. I won the pot for the final score($40.00). First time I've won.:dancer:celebrate
