Display Adapter Not Showing In Device Manager!!!

Hey folks!

I have done a repair of Windows XP on a Machine i have had in and it works fine all the drivers are showing fine... besides the Graphics Card isn't showing in Device Manager!? I have been trying to get it to show it in the list but its not working! I have just uninstalled the drivers and about to install new drivers for the GC but i am doubting its going to work!

Anyone with some advice or help would be great!

Shows as default Monitor when change the res of the screen.

Graphics Card: ASUS ATI 9250 Radeon AGP 128MB
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
Graphics are fine just having problems adjusting the display res!

So, you have no "Display adapter" in Device Manager? Does Device Manager show any unknown devices or any yellow triangles with exclamation marks in them? Does that computer also have onboard graphics?

 

No it didn't!

I fixed it now i realised i needed to reinstall the Chipset Drivers for the motherboard as i done a repair of Windows XP i forgot that i needed to refresh them drivers as it was complaining about them while doing the repair!

All working now

Installed VIA Chipset Drivers and it refreshed the AGP slot more or less and found the AGP Graphics Card then installed the Drivers.
